Squash is one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S. This cross-training sport is a blend of racquet skills, cardio endurance, speed, balance, agility and incredible eye-hand coordination. The pace which is utilized in the game of squash, can vary from a slow and rhythmic movement, into one that is explosive, dynamic, and lightning fast, covering all four corners of the court.
Squash will test your ability to move your opponent around the court, controlling the pace, and putting your opponent out of position, in order to play the winning shot. Some studies claim that a one-hour rigorous game of squash can expend as much as 750 calories! You can learn to enjoy the game of squash with your spouse, children or friends. When winter comes and outdoor tennis is no longer an option, squash can be a nice compliment to your overall training and cardio fitness regimen. So, pick up a racquet and play with the pro!
