Martial Arts

Martial arts or fighting arts are systems of codified practices and traditions of Combat. Martial arts all have a very similar objective: defend oneself or others from physical threat.

Some martial arts are linked to beliefs such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Daoism, Confucianism or Shinto while others follow a particular code of honor. Martial arts are considered as both an art and a science. Many arts are also practiced competitively, most commonly as combat sports, but may also take the form of dance.

As a long time student of Elite Martial Arts, studying under Master Nick Bajra, 8th degree black belt, George is a 1st degree black belt in japanese jujitsu and arnis kali stick fighting (which originated from the Phillipines) and is pursuing a 2nd degree black belt in both styles. In addition, George and Master Nick train with various weapons, including bat and knife, and kickboxing, as well as mixed martial arts (MMA).
